Many of my friends growing up, like me, also came from immigrant families, usually from the Caribbean or Central/South America. Many of my teachers were immigrants or came from immigrant families themselves. Hometown: Lincoln, England Major: Exercise science About: My interest about soccer is from my up bringing, as i am from England it is the main sport played and talked about therefore I grew up playing it. I typically call the sport football but have adapted to calling it soccer whilst out here in America.

Some of the soccer teams that I had the chance to watch on TV was Argentina and FC Barcelona. Usually the times I played soccer was during PE or Lunch in elementary school.

I can’t wait to see what I can learn that changes my perspective on it, as I played for 10ish years when I was little!
